Ikos to Open New ‘Odisia’ Resort on Corfu in 2023

Ikos Resorts has announced plans to open a new all-inclusive resort on the island of Corfu in 2023.

The group’s Ikos Odisia will open on May 19, on the bay of Dassia. It will be Ikos’ second resort on Corfu after the opening of its award-winning Ikos Dassia in 2018, and the sixth property included in its portfolio.

Designed by Nimand Architects, the new resort will combine Dassia’s unique landscape with the brand’s infinite lifestyle features.

Located within a 25-minute drive from Corfu International Airport and 20km away from the UNESCO world heritage site of Corfu old town, the new five-star resort will cover a total of 60 acres and feature 395 luxury rooms, suites, bungalows and villas, designed to cover the needs of all guests.

In addition, the resort’s Deluxe Collection Suites will provide visitors with personalized services and benefits.

Ikos Odisia will also include modern sports facilities, 10 heated outdoor and indoor swimming pools for children and adults, and a 420-meter sandy beach.

The group’s luxury all-inclusive holiday model will be further enhanced with Greek and international gastronomy experiences to be offered by Michelin-starred chefs; a carefully curated list of 300 Greek and international wines; a cuisine based on seasonal local products; a 24-hour room service; ultra-luxury spa treatments by Anne Semonin, a French skincare company; babysitting services, and a kids club.

As part of their hospitality package, guests will also be able enjoy dinner at selected local restaurants or a private boat trip to the island of Vidos. Meanwhile, the Local Drive Adventure service will offer them the opportunity to explore Corfu with a complimentary car rental and free museum tickets.

In efforts to support the local community, Ikos Odisia will collaborate with local producers, while at least half of its 700 new employment positions will be covered by Corfu residents.

Moreover, under the Ikos Green program, the new resort will develop sustainable practices including carbon-neutral and zero-waste initiatives.
