Organized by the regional authority of Thessaly, the chamber of Karditsa and Greece’s national exhibition body TIF-Helexpo, the expo will be held in the city’s tobacco warehouse complex with free admission during October 7-9. Details of the event were discussed during a recent meeting in Thessaly between Governor Kostas Agorastos, TIF-Helexpo CEO Kyriakos Pozrikidis and Karditsa Chamber President Kostas Zygogiannis. The Thessaly Expo.22 show will focus on the promotion of businesses based in Karditsa and the wider region that are active in the fields of tourism and food & beverages (F&B). The event’s organizers aim to promote the region’s mountainous destinations as well as its thematic tourism products that are connected with agriculture. Photo source: Municipality of Karditsa The expo will host organizations, bodies and companies active in the following fields: agricultural products, food, tourism – agritourism – alternative forms of tourism, folk art, agriculture – livestock, energy – environmental technology – alternative forms of energy, IT – new technologies, papermaking – decoration, packaging items and materials, car – motorcycle – bicycle – accessories, home – business equipment – furniture – construction – renovation, clothing – garment accessories – leather goods, family – child – education – women’s beauty, media – advertising – publishing. The Thessaly Expo.22 will also feature pre-scheduled meetings with hosted buyers from Greece and abroad as well as a program of festivities including wine tasting and cultural events.
