New Luxury Resort ‘NOŪS’ Enters Santorini’s Hotel Scene

The popular Greek island of Santorini recently welcomed a new entry to its hotel scene: NOŪS, a luxury resort where contemporary art meets authentic design.

Owned by Donkey Hotels Group, the 5-star NOŪS Santorini opened earlier this month as a member of YES! Hotels in the area of Messaria on the island.

Following the “Young, Enthusiastic, Seductive” philosophy of YES! Hotels, NOŪS Santorini is a luxury resort with a unique character, world-class interior design and exterior landscape, blending Santorini’s history with contemporary flair.

Designed by Divercity Architects, in collaboration with MplusM Architects, the resort’s concept draws inspiration from the geometric shapes of Santorini’s architecture and presents them in modern terms.

As highlighted by YES! Hotels, all the elements that make Santorini unique to the world are present in the resort. The volcanic character, traditional settlements and distinct architecture of the island is reflected in every little detail of the resort.

All of the resort’s common areas and rooms include volcanic-inspired art works created by Greek artists. Modern design icons of significant designers such as Doshi & Levien, Konstantin Grcic and Faye Toogood are also present in all areas.

NOŪS Santorini comprises 121 rooms, most of which are in bungalows with private pools.

Signature Restaurant & Bar

Dining at the resort’s Signature Restaurant & Bar will also be an experience on its own, as fresh products sourced from Santorini, as well as first class ingredients from all over Greece, compose a menu with the finest selections based on the simplicity of Greek cuisine.

The resort also features a spa with 5 treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, cold tank, gym and outdoor yoga area. In addition, a Vitamin Bar operates in the spa area – a spot where guests can find fresh salads and juices, cereal bars, smoothies and of course local products.
