Trikala to Promote its Outdoor Activities at Germany’s TourNatur Expo

The outdoor activities that travelers can experience in the area of Trikala in Thessaly will be presented at the TourNatur 2022 international exhibition.

Every year, TourNatur offers the opportunity to visitors of all ages to learn more about alternative tourism, outdoor activities and adventure travel. The event brings together hundreds of tour operators, national tourism bodies, tourism professionals, journalists as well as visitors from all over the world.

TourNatur 2022 will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, during August 26 – September 4.

Representatives of the DMO Regional Unit of Trikala will be present at the stand of the Thessaly Region to welcome tourism executives and potential travelers and offer digital and print information about the area’s unique nature and outdoor activities that include hiking, cycling, climbing, horse riding and rafting.

The Regional Unit of Trikala consists of the city of Trikala, the unique Meteora rocks, traditional villages and numerous historic monuments.

“The area’s natural environment offers unique opportunities for a plethora of activities in nature that offer unforgettable experiences to visitors,” the DMO’s president, Vasilis Giagiakos, said.
