A joint venture of Hotel Investment Partners (HIP) and hotel management company Domes Resorts & Reserves, the property is managed under the Domes Aulūs pioneer concept and will be part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection Hotels. The renovation of Domes Aulūs Zante included the refurbishment of all public areas and guestrooms. The resort features 150 rooms, 72 of which belong to the premium category; an infinity pool; upgraded restaurants (buffet and a la cate); a beach bar; a lounge bar; adults and family pool bars; a new food-truck area; and a new indoor and outdoor spa facility. The Domes Aulūs is located within a Natura-protected turtle sanctuary on Zakynthos’ longest beach, just 5km away from the airport. It is set among 230 acres of white-sand beaches, a verdant pine forest and the distinctive turquoise Ionian sea. The resort is considered ideal for friends and families that seek to disconnect from the rest of the world and soak up Zakynthos’ iconic landscape and charming local community. Domes Aulūs Zante’s refurbishment plan was supported by Alpha Bank which provided the financing for the execution of the capital expenditure.
