Accommodation services in the regional unit of Kos recorded the largest increase in turnover up by 399.6 percent over the same quarter in 2021, while the smallest rise was marked in the regional unit of Halkidiki up by 125.8 percent. Source: ELSTAT Food and beverage services (F&B) providers, including restaurants, cafes and bars, saw Q2 turnover reach 1.931 billion euros up by 70.2 percent over Q2 2021 and 1.13 billion euros. At the top of the list in terms of size of increase were F&B enterprises in the regional unit of Thira (Santorini) up by 275.8 percent while the smallest increase at 32.3 percent was seen in the regional unit of Achaia. Source: ELSTAT According to ELSTAT data for June, turnover for hospitality services providers came to 1.0 billion euros up by 174.4 percent over June 2021, when turnover amounted to 367.247.183 euros. In the same month, food and beverage services providers saw turnover grow by 56.0 percent over the same month a year ago to 221.518.425 euros from 141.979.349 euros. Overall in June, enterprises active in accommodation and F&B marked a 141.4 percent increase in June turnover to 1.2 billion euros against June 2021 and 509.226.532 euros with the regional unit of Kos marking the greatest increase by 325.5 percent and the regional unit of Achaia the smallest by 58.0 percent.
