According to Scoot’s update, with effect from August 29, passengers are not required to wear face masks on board flights, unless they are travelling to or from destinations that require a face mask. The airline clarifies that customers who wish to wear a face mask on board may continue to do so. Face masks are also optional at Singapore Changi Airport. Updates on Singapore Border Measures From August 28, all non-fully vaccinated travellers are no longer required to undergo a 7-day SHN and take a Polymerase Chain Reaction COVID-19 test at the end of their SHN period. Non-fully vaccinated travellers are still required to take a Pre-Departure Test within 2 days before departure for Singapore and test negative before departing for Singapore. As the Covid situation remains dynamic, Scoot provides the latest updates to measures on its website. As guidelines are subject to regulatory changes, Scoot advises its customers to check the travel advisory issued by local authorities of their planned destination for the latest information.
