Organized by OnDeck Events, the Olympic Yacht Show 2022 will take place at the renovated facilities of the Olympic Marine in Lavrio during October 7 – 10. The show will spread across the marina’s floating pontoons as well as on land, offering visitors the opportunity to admire new yachts and see the best that the Greek yachting market has to offer. According to its organizer, the show has already attracted the attention of some of the largest yachting companies in Greece, while leading executives of international companies and shipyards have already confirmed their participation as guests, adding to the event’s “global allure”. The number of yacht entries is also growing at an impressive pace, reaching over 100, with new models expected to debut during the show. Furthermore, Greek shipyards including Olympic YachIS, Skipper-BSK, Technohull, Rafnar Hellas, Rock Marine, Seafighter, Olympic Ribs and Onda Tenders will take center stage. “The Olympic Yacht Show aims to become a significant communication platform for the Greek shipbuilding industry. Greek yachts must have their own local show at home in order to attract foreign buyers; this is one of the main reasons for visiting the show,” said Gerasimos Gerolimatos, head of the Olympic Yacht Show Organizing Committee. On land, the show will feature leading international companies that stand out for their exquisite services in the areas of equipment, technology and yacht support. The aim of the Olympic Yacht Show is to become an annual nautical event and offer a platform for business discussions to yachting professionals and owners alike. The 2nd Olympic Yacht Show 2022 will be held under the auspices of the Ministries of Shipping, Development & Investments, Tourism, the Greek National Tourism Organization, the Attica Region and other organizations.
