Cyprus Airways on October 30 will start operating its winter 2022/23 flight schedule with a planned 28 return direct weekly scheduled services to four key airports.

Athens will be served with a double daily flight from Larnaca, whilst Tel-Aviv and Beirut will be served with six weekly services. Flights to Yerevan will continue throughout the winter with a twice-weekly service.

Commenting on the winter 2022/23 schedule, Cyprus Airways Chief Commercial Officer Madonna Hoyek said the company is encouraged to see that air travel continues to fast recover and confidence in the market is increasing steadily.

“We are thus optimistic that the 188,000 seats we are offering on the market will continue to assist and to boost travel and tourism to Cyprus and ensure critical connectivity to and from the country,” she said.

5-year strategic plan

On his part, Cyprus Airways CEO Paul Sies said the airline’s winter flight schedule shows a strong commitment by Cyprus Airways to the Island’s connectivity and to the local economy and tourism industry.

“Our aim this winter is to present a schedule that secures services to key destinations and gradually continue building much needed passenger and cargo capacity for 2023 in line with our 5-year strategic plan,” Sies said.

“We are slowly building-up structural and frequent connectivity again between Cyprus and key destinations and we are proud of this,” he added.
