ITA Airways Announces Country Manager for Greece

ITA Airways Country Manager Greece Anna Xenaki.

Italian flag-carrier ITA Airways has appointed Anna Xenaki as its Country Manager for Greece.

With over 20 years of experience and expertise in the aviation industry, her role will include managing ITA Airways’s business development in Greece, one of the airline’s key markets.

The announcement was made during a recent event held by ITA Airways for its partners at New Hotel in Athens in the presence of Pierfrancesco Carino, Vice President International Sales; Carla Catuogno, Regional Manager Europe; Aldo D’Elia, International Sales Development Manager and the staff of ITA Airways Greece.

ITA Airways operates three daily return flights from Athens to Rome Fiumicino during the summer season and 13 weekly flights in the winter season.

New intercontinental flights from Rome Fiumicino

During the event, it was announced that the airline was further expanding its intercontinental network. From November 2022, ITA Airways will operate 3 direct weekly flights from Rome Fiumicino to Tokyo Haneda.

Also, from 3 December 2022, a new direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi will operate three times a week. In addition, a direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to Malé Maldives will run from 17 December 2022 until 22 January 2023 three times a week and from January 23 to March 26 2023 twice a week.

ITA Airways is a member of SkyTeam alliance.
