Thessaloniki’s residents and visitors were in for a treat when they attended the “Taste the World” event at Salonica, the restaurant of the 5-star Makedonia Palace Hotel.

Held in collaboration with Vogatsikou 3, one of the city’s well-known cocktail bars, the event blended gastronomy and mixology offering a unique menu paired with handcrafted cocktails.

Guests enjoyed a culinary experience that showcased a 6-course signature menu by the restaurant’s Executive Chef Sotiris Evangelou accompanied by a limited edition cocktail list by Vogatsikou 3’s mixologists.

The Taste the World event included a musical performance by Le Croque & The Band.

Makedonia Palace is Thessaloniki’s first luxury hotel established in 1971. Following its full renovation in 2017, the hotel now offers five-star hospitality services and unique tourism experiences.

Salonica Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel and offers a great view of the Thermaikos gulf and Mount Olympus.

Vogatsikou 3 opened its doors in 2014 in the old premises of one of Thessaloniki’s most well-known bars back in the 80’s and 90’s, Bel Air. The cocktail bar boasts an impressive spirits collection and an extraordinary cocktail list that includes over 70 cocktails on the menu.
