Entitled ‘Open Air Athens’ the video aims to take viewers on a journey through the different kinds of outdoor experiences one can enjoy while visiting the Greek capital, regardless the season. During the 90-second video, a female artist discusses how Greece’s capital inspires her. With Acropolis as her starting point the protagonist presents a contemporary travelogue connected to the city’s cultural identity and urban beauty. As the woman goes through her daily life, viewers can enjoy the multitude of outdoor activities in Athens like riding a bike, exercising at a park, relaxing at a promenade or going out with friends. The video, which aims to promote Athens as a year-round city break destination, highlights the open culture and lifestyle identity of the Greek capital. Athens was recently voted among the 12 friendliest European cities at the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2022 and won the title of Europe’s Leading Cultural Destination for 2022 at the World Travel Awards.
