Air Travel Cyprus Airways Announces More Flights to Athens for Christmas by GTP editing team 7 December 2022 written by GTP editing team 7 December 2022 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 18 Cyprus Airways recently announced that it is adding additional capacity over Christmas for people to travel from Cyprus to Athens, Paris and Yerevan. Over 6,000 seats have been added. According to Paul Sies, chief executive of Cyprus’s flag-carrier, demand for the airline’s services is now back to pre-pandemic levels. “Many of our flights over this festive season have already been sold out,” he said, adding that flights have increased to facilitate travel for tourists wishing to visit Cyprus during the Christmas period or for Cypriots living abroad to return home to spend their holidays with family and friends. The additional services will be offered between December 15 and January 15, 2023. During this period a third daily flight will be offered on Athens whilst additional flights to Paris Charles De Gaulle have been added on Fridays and Mondays. A third weekly frequency has been added to/from Yerevan. Moreover, Cyprus Airways has announced that its summer flights are now on sale for those looking to book ahead at the best value.
