Photo source: Vasilitsa National Ski Center. The ski center located in Vasilitsa, Northern Greece, was named Europe’s Cheapest Ski Center in a recent survey by Holidu. A popular search engine for holiday rentals, Holidu analyzed a total of 273 ski centers in 15 European countries with 20 or more kilometers of slopes to compile its 2022/2023 Ski Price Index. According to the survey, the Vasilitsa National Ski Center located on Pindos Mountain at an altitude of 2,249 meters, costs an average of 36 euros per person per day for a ski pass and accommodation in the area. Families and visitors who don’t ski can also visit the center via its accessible lifts to enjoy the area’s natural beauty and panoramic view. Following Vasilitsa at the top 10 of Europe’s Cheapest Ski Centers are 9 ski centers in France such as Grenoble’s Gresse en Vercors and Autrans – La Sure with an average cost of 38 and 39 euros respectively. On the other hand, Holidu also issued a list of Europe’s Most Expensive Ski Centers. Zermatt, Switzerland. Zermatt in southern Switzerland tops the list with an average cost of 248 euros while St. Moritz, considered one of the best snow sports centers in the world, follows at number 5 with 193 euros average cost.
