Newel Hospitality Collection Opens Hotel in Metaxourgeio, Athens

The Newel Hospitality Collection, hospitality brand that owns and operates aparthotels in the Greek capital, recently opened its latest property in central Athens, in the neighborhood of Metaxourgeio.

Housed in a renovated five – story building, The Newel Metaxourgeio hotel boasts 17 rooms, a bar-restaurant and a beauty – spa center.

The Newel hospitality brand is a newly-introduced hybrid hospitality brand that owns and operates a premium collection of lifestyle hotels and luxury boutique apartments in Athens.

The brand currently has 62 premium rooms on offer at its hotels in the Acropolis, Psychiko and Metaxourgeio locations, with enhanced facilities and additional space when compared to other traditional hotel rooms, according to an announcement of The Newel.

“What makes The Newel stand out from the competition is our hotels’ architecture that serves spatial functionality and allows the harmonious coexistence of guests with different visitor profiles,” says founder of The Newel, Christoforos Petsis.

The brand’s new hotel in Metaxourgeio is characterized by its minimal interior design and décor.

The hotel rooms offer a variety of amenities including a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, a stovetop, kettle, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer and a flat screen TV with cable channels.

To further enhance the quality of its guests’ stay, the hotel also offers 24-hour security, front desk assistance and personalized concierge services such as private transfers and reservations, personal training, car rental and private tours.

The Newel Metaxourgeio is situated less than one kilometer from the National Theatre of Greece, a 13-minute walk from the National Archaeological Museum of Athens and is within walking distance from Athens’ Omonia and Monastiraki squares as well as all means of public transportation.

According to Petsis, The Newel will soon announce the brand’s expansion plans in Greece and abroad, as well as a special collaboration with a renowned Greek chef who will create the menus at its hotels in Psychiko and Metaxourgeio.
