Directed by Australian filmmaker Liz Murphy, the promo video was filmed in several different locations, including Singapore, Auckland in New Zealand, Barcelona in Spain, Mumbai in India, and Shanghai in China, showcasing SIA’s global reach. The airline conducted extensive research to gauge its global brand perception and used the findings to create a campaign that would resonate with customers from all over the world. The SIA Group has a rich history, dating back to 1947 with the maiden flight of Malayan Airways Limited. Over the years, the airline underwent several name changes and eventually split into Singapore Airlines and Malaysian Airline System in 1972. Starting out with a modest fleet of 10 aircraft to 22 cities in 18 countries, SIA has since grown into a world-class international airline group with a constant focus on service excellence, product leadership, and network connectivity.
