The Best Exhibitor Award (BEA) is making its return to the ITB Berlin, the world’s largest travel trade show, after a two-year break. The award, presented by the CBS International Business School, has been a staple of the ITB Berlin trade show since 2000 and has established itself as a benchmark in the tourism industry. An international team of students from the CBS International Business School together with the Cologne-based consultancy co:compass will be evaluating the exhibitors during the three-day event, with the assessment taking place over two rounds. The first evaluation round will focus on customer contact and B2B booth performance, with the second round also assessing the exhibitors’ communication and sustainability efforts. The categories include Germany, Europe, Asia/Australia/Oceania, America/The Caribbean, Near/Middle East, Africa, Hotel Business, Carriers, Travel Organizations, Travel Support & Media, as well as Travel Technology, with the Best of Best category being awarded to the exhibitor with the highest score. There is no need to register for the BEA as all exhibitors are automatically evaluated. In addition to the stand assessments, the CBS students will also be involved in planning and organizing the presentation of the Best Exhibitor Award, which will take place on Thursday, February 7th at 6:30 p.m. on the Blue Stage in Hall 7.1b.
