A total of seven Greek travel tech startups will join the CapsuleT Travel & Hospitality Accelerator and take part in this year’s ITB Berlin tourism expo in Germany.

Under the slogan “Open for Change”, the ITB Berlin travel trade show will open its doors on March 7 as an in-person event and welcome trade visitors only.

The Greek startups that will be co-exhibitors of the CapsuleT Travel & Hospitality Accelerator at the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) stand, which will be represented in Hall 1.1 and at Stand 101.

An initiative of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, CapsuleT is Greece’s first travel and hospitality accelerator that was launched to support and promote Greek technology startups for tourism and hospitality and boost synergies to bring innovation to the country’s tourism sector. CapsuleT just wrapped up its fifth cycle.

“The GNTO and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels are once again joining forces with the main aim of new collaborations, networking with international agencies, strengthening the clientele of the participating groups, as well as promoting innovative solutions, services and products for tourism businesses,” a CapsuleT announcement said.

Five startups that have “graduated” from the CapsuleT Travel & Hospitality Accelerator – Campsaround, Hotellisense, HotelToolBox, Narratologies and Vivestia – will participate in ITB Berlin 2023. They will be joined by their community partners Triparound and Welcome Pickups.

Running until March 9, this year’s ITB Berlin will for the first time be an exclusively B2B event.

Since 1966, ITB Berlin has been the world’s leading travel trade show.
