Construction firms TEMES SA and Lamda Development announced this week that they had finalized their agreement to develop two 5-star hotels and a number of branded residences along the Athenian Riviera scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026 and part of the multi-million-euro Ellinikon Project. The project, budgeted at 300 million euros, includes under the Belt Riviera SA – Hellinikon SMSA (a Lamda subsidiary) agreement, the construction of a 160-room, 5-star hotel, outdoor spaces, seaside dining and entertainment venues, a luxury beach club, a health club, recreation, fitness and beauty facilities, in addition to a residential complex consisting of 17 luxury branded homes/apartments with views to the sea. A second agreement between Malt Riviera SA and Hellinikon SMSA, concerns the construction of a 220-room, 5-star hotel and a residential area consisting of 49 branded villas/apartments next to the refurbished Agios Kosmas Marina and on the coast of Elliniko in Glyfada. The companies announced that the hotel design will be undertaken by a leading international architectural offices and the management of the hotels by global hotel operators.
