Organized by ONDECK MEDIA & EVENTS, a Greek – owned independent design consultancy that offers targeted advertising to the luxury and maritime tourism industries, the event will take place on April 27 at the Zappeion Hall in Athens. The Yachting Awards were established in 2019 by a team of yacht experts in Greece to recognize and highlight the contribution of the industry’s professionals to the development of maritime tourism in the country and the overall evolution of yachting. Following 2019’s successful launch, the Yachting Awards Gala 2023 promises to be a stand out opportunity to showcase the importance of the sector and promote Greece as an attractive destination for yachting and marine tourism, as well as a networking chance for yachting, luxury industry, media, business, and politics representatives. The event will be held under the auspices of the Tourism Ministry, the Greek Tourism Organization (GNTO) and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA). Maritime tourism and yachting in Greece As highlighted by the event’s organizers, ONDECK MEDIA & EVENTS, maritime tourism is one of the most dynamic forms of contemporary tourism with positive effects on national economies. The tourism form provides high-quality accommodation and services and is directly associated with luxury, well-being, comfort, independence, and adventure.
