This year’s wine show will take place at the Pavilion of Nations (Pavilion 6) at the exhibition center in Thessaloniki. According to an announcement, the show this year will be bigger as it will host 130 renowned wineries, boutique wineries, and distribution networks. Among the Thessaloniki Wine Show highlights will be the Alternative Wine Bar that will present selected mild or zero intervention, biodynamic, organic, and vegan wines from all over Greece. These wines will be curated and presented by two of the best Greek sommeliers, Theologis Plakopoulos and Nikolas Kyriakidis, to winemakers who will talk about their wines and particular approach to winemaking, holistic theory, and sustainable cultivation. Another unique feature of the show will be the Best of Aris Sklavenitis event, where the top 20 wines of 2022 selected by the three time Best Greek Sommelier award winner Aris Sklavenitis will be presented.
