The announcement was made during a special event held recently in Paris by the GNTO office in France. Transavia flights between the two destinations will run between April 22 and October 28. Photo source: GNTO Speaking during the event, Transavia Chief Commercial Officer Nicolas Henin said the new route has attracted a warm response from customers as tickets for Kefalonia are already being booked. Held at the Pavillon Elysée in Paris, the event was attended by journalists and French tourism professionals who had the opportunity to learn about the natural beauty, culinary identity and rich cultural heritage of Kefalonia through a presentation by the GNTO’s director in France, Dimitra Voziki. “With Greece among the top travel destinations for French travelers, journalists and professionals attending the event had the opportunity to discover a strong new destination, which is expected to be very popular among tourists from France,” the GNTO said.
