Then. Now. Forever”, the new visual identity was revealed to the public during a special event supported by Enterprise Greece. According to SEMMTH, it aims to convey Greek marble’s timelessness dating back to antiquity, as well as its versatile use in small-scale home projects or large-scale constructions of particular importance and symbolism. Furthermore, it underlines marble’s natural and sustainable features that make it “a suitable material in contemporary design and architecture”. During the event, SEMMTH President Ioulia Haida highlighted the Greek marble industry’s contribution to the country’s economy, and especially its export value which reached 360,748,000 million euros in 2021 compared to 288,720,000 million euros in 2020.
