Greek Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias and US Ambassador to Greece George Tsunis recently signed the continuation of a Tourism MoU between Greece and the US during a special event held at the National Gallery of Athens last week. During the event, both parties agreed on a joint action plan that will target specific tourism areas and can further stimulate US tourism flows to Greece. Tsunis praised Kikilias’ work and underlined that over the last two years “Greek tourism’s record-breaking performance and impressive revenues have greatly contributed to the country’s return to economic surplus in 2022.” Furthermore, the US Ambassador to Greece went on to underline that Greece is “not just beautiful beaches in the summer, but a year-round destination with impressively unique and undiscovered locations.” Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias with US Ambassador to Greece George Tsunis.
