The luxurious resort is situated on Crete‘s Akrotiri peninsula, offering panoramic views of the Cretan Sea and one of the island’s most beautiful sunsets. Isla Brown Chania. With 148 deluxe rooms and suites, each featuring a private pool, Isla Brown Chania is characterized as a “haven of luxury.” Guests can also indulge in the resort’s three large pools, spa and wellness center, and culinary offerings at its three restaurants. All amenities are designed under a minimalism and discreet luxury umbrella, promising a unique and indulgent stay. Additionally, the hotel is situated near the famous village and beach of Stavros, where scenes from the Oscar-nominated movie Zorbas were filmed. Furthermore, most of Akrotiri’s beaches are protected from the strong summer winds and are located a short distance from the city, such as Marathi and Kalatha beach. There are also several historical sites in proximity, such as the ancient city of Kydonia, monasteries such as Gouverneto, Agia Triada, and Paxinos, and the tombs of the famous Venizelos family.
