Photo source: ONOMA Hotel. The Anatolia Hospitality Group is set to expand its ONOMA hotel brand to Athens, following the success of its launch in Thessaloniki in 2021. Known for “adapting” to its guests by offering tailor-made experiences, ONOMA (the Greek word for “name”) is a tech-friendly hotel that converses with the modern traveller and his or her individual needs. The new 5-star “Instagrammable” hotel will be located on 6 Syggrou Avenue, one of the most sought-after areas of the Greek capital. It will offer unique views of the Acropolis from its rooftop and overlook the Temple of the Olympian Zeus site. The hotel will comprise of 40 rooms and suites, dining and experience areas, and a roof garden with 360-degree views of Athens, all designed for modern travelers looking for a smart, personalized accommodation experience beyond the ordinary. ONOMA’s innovative concept, which includes a mascot named Seeker – a statue representing the modern traveler seeking new experiences while discovering the world – has gained popularity among Gen-Z and Millennial travelers. The hotel’s philosophy is centered on getting to know guests personally, including their likes, dreams and aspirations, in order to offer services that match their true profile and are totally related to them. The hotel’s red-suited Composers act as travel friends and mentors to guests, providing assistance whenever needed while its rooms are equipped with tablets that manage the room ambiance by modifying lights and temperature, arranging wake-up alarms, and contacting room service, among other functions. With an investment of 2.5 million euros, the Athens ONOMA project is expected to be a great addition to the city’s hospitality scene, offering guests a unique and personalized experience.
