The Thessaloniki Tourism Organization (TTO) gave an impressive performance at this year’s Tourism Awards, securing one Platinum, three Gold, and two Bronze awards at the awards ceremony held on Thursday at the Grand Hyatt Athens.

For the past ten years the Tourism Awards are considered a prestigious event in the tourism industry, honoring pioneers and innovators in Greek tourism. The awards recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed to the development of quality tourism with best practices that highlight excellence and leadership in the industry.

According to the TTO, this year’s awards were particularly meaningful for Thessaloniki and the organization, as they recognized the persistence, courage, passion, and vision that went into promoting the city as a top tourism destination.
