SAAE’s new Board of Directors is as follows: President Dinos Frantzeskakis, Discover the World Vice President Michael Flerianos, Gold Star Aviation Secretary General Maria Theofanopoulou, Danae Airlines Treasurer Zoi Skreki, Intermodal Air Member Marianthi Kaparaki, Top Kinisis Following his appointment, Frantzeskakis said that the challenges – such as staff shortages – that the aviation industry is facing today with the new normality that is taking shape after the end of the health crisis calls for the continuous development and upgrading of the services that general agents/GSAs offer to airlines. “This is the guarantee for the continuation and further increase of the turnover of the airline companies in Greece as well as of the members of the association, through new partnerships with airlines that trust us to promote and distribute their product and also to increase tourism in Greece,” he said. SAAE was founded in 1989 and its members consist of Greek companies that represent foreign airlines in Greece. Currently, over 63 percent of foreign airlines represented in Greece operate under Greek General Sales Agents (GSAs).
