Photo source: Zeus International Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Zeus International on Tuesday announced the expansion of their strategic collaboration to develop the Trademark Collection by Wyndham and Registry Collection Hotels brands in European and more Balkan countries in the coming years. The expanded collaboration will focus on growing the Trademark Collection by Wyndham upper-midscale portfolio, building on the brand’s growth momentum in Europe, while also positioning the Registry Collection Hotels’ brand in the region, with handpicked properties that will deliver a luxury experience in more spectacular destinations. The new non-exclusive agreement will focus on various destinations in Southeast Europe such as Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina, Kosovo and North Macedonia. “We are delighted to continue to expand our fruitful collaboration with Zeus International, a like-minded partner whose growth plans and passion for hospitality perfectly match our ambitious development objectives in the region,” Dimitris Manikis, President Europe, Middle East, Eurasia and Africa, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said. Photo source: Zeus International Wyndham and Zeus International entered a strategic collaboration in 2017, which saw the opening of several flagship hotels in Greece and Italy such as Wyndham Grand Athens, Wyndham Athens Residence, Dolce by Wyndham and Ramada by Wyndham Attica Riviera, Wyndham Grand Crete Mirabello Bay and more recently Dolce by Wyndham Milan Malpensa. “We are looking forward to the next chapter in our partnership with more exciting destinations and accommodations, as well as more options that cater to independent-minded hotel owners in key European countries,” Manikis added. Recent Openings As part of the agreement, Wyndham and Zeus recently opened three boutique hotels under the Trademark Collection by Wyndham brand in Greece (the Lazart Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham in Thessaloniki and the Athens Key Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham) and Romania (Central Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham in Bucharest). Photo source: Zeus International On his part, Zeus International CEO and Founder Haris Siganos said that the expanded alliance with Wyndham is key to the company’s mission to bring the “Zeus Experience” to even more travellers in Europe. “Building on the success achieved with Wyndham, we look forward to adding more exceptional destinations and offering an outstanding experience to our guests choosing the Trademark and Registry Collection Hotels brands,” Siganos said, adding that the collaboration is a significant milestone in Zeus International’s ambition to grow and enhance the tourism industry.
