Managed by Domes Resorts, the property is almost completely upgraded into an upper upscale adult-only all-inclusive resort with fresh, new accommodation options for guests in Elounda. The refurbishment sees the full renovation of all the restaurants and bars, 123 bungalows and 18 new suites. The common areas, new market areas, dining deck and retail spaces have also been redeveloped. The gym is being enlarged and a new wellness and wellbeing centre is being introduced. Located at one of the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean, Domes Aulūs Elounda, Curio Collection by Hilton is surrounded by calm waters and the Venetian castle on the islet of Spinalonga, the setting for Victoria Hislop’s best-selling novel. Domes Aulūs Elounda, Curio Collection by Hilton comprises a private beach, two cliffside swimming pools and pool bars, a signature Soma Spa and Gym, a series of culinary experiences and a marketplace including open-air boutique shops and a cinema. The property’s design is inspired by the surrounding topography and tones of the Cretan landscape and has a warm palette of grey and beige textured surfaces, splashed with Aegean blue textiles. “The resort is the epitome of sophistication and the ‘Cool Inclusive’ concept offers limitless access to a meticulously crafted array of culinary delights, mixology, and thrilling experiences all day long, ensuring a worry-free escape where all must-haves are part of the experience,” the resort’s management said in an announcement. Domes Aulūs Elounda, Curio Collection by Hilton will participate in Hilton Honors, the award-winning guest-loyalty program for Hilton’s world-class portfolio of 19 distinct hotel brands which boasts more than 158 million members.
