Effective from July 1, Möllers will take over from Charlotte Wwiebe, leading the international team in driving TUI’s sustainability initiatives. Photo source: TUI Group. She has successfully implemented strategic transformation processes in the Group’s airline division, showcasing her operational experience and technical expertise. Her primary role will be to practically implement and develop the TUI Sustainability Agenda, unveiled earlier this year, across all business areas. With her industrial engineering degree and extensive experience in the airline sector, Möllers will play a crucial role in achieving TUI Group’s ambitious climate targets. Beginning her career as a project and process management consultant at TUI in 2014, Möllers has held various management positions within the international airline organization. She currently serves as Head of Aircraft Asset & Business Management. In her new role as Group Director of Sustainability & ESG, Möllers will report to Thomas Ellerbeck, Member of the Group Executive Committee and Chief Sustainability Officer of TUI Group. Charlotte Wwiebe, after contributing to TUI Group in various management positions, will continue to share her knowledge and experience as a consultant and Supervisory Board member in different organizations, as announced in February 2023. Following the successful completion of the strategy process, TUI’s focus is now on implementing sustainability measures across different business areas. The Group aims to reinforce its leading position in sustainability within the tourism sector. Headquartered in Germany, TUI Group is a prominent global tourism group operating worldwide. It offers integrated services to its 21 million customers, covering the entire tourism value chain. The Group’s offerings include over 400 hotels and resorts, 16 cruise ships, leading tour operator brands, online marketing platforms, five airlines, and around 1,200 travel agencies.
