British tour operator Newmarket Holidays has added more guided and escorted trips to Greece in 2024 and extra capacity on popular options introduced in 2023 as part of its new European program released this week. The new “Ancient Greece Uncovered” aims to introduce British travelers to Greek culture and landmarks. The eight-day trip with a starting price of 1,296 pounds includes stays in Athens and Thessaloniki and guided tours to important Ancient Greek sites including the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, the Acropolis in Athens, and the monasteries in Meteora. Newmarket will also be boosting its activities in Portugal in 2024 with the addition of the “Flavors of the Douro” tours.
