The Emirates Group Transport Services once again has been recognized for its commitment to health and safety excellence by receiving five awards at the recent Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards ceremony held in Dubai. The company’s awards included the gold award for health and safety performance, gold award for leisure safety, safety influencer of the year award, highly commended award in the health and safety initiative, and trophy award for best fleet safety in the Middle East. Emirates is the only airline globally to have won the gold award for health and safety performance in transport for four consecutive years, recognizing its dedication to ensuring the well-being of its staff and customers. The gold award for leisure safety highlighted Emirates’ commitment to providing safe and secure services directly to guests and visitors. Furtrhermore, Roshan Menon, Manager of Transport Services, was honored with the safety influencer of the year award for his work in promoting safety in the Middle East. Emirates Group Transport Services received a highly commended award in the health and safety initiative category for its extensive transport support and safety measures implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Emirates Transport Services also received the trophy award for best fleet safety in the Middle East, recognizing its excellence in managing occupational road risk. In the UAE, Emirates operates a fleet of over a thousand vehicles for the transportation of passengers, cabin crew, flight deck personnel, and other employees. The airline provides dedicated shuttle services for cabin crew and chauffeur-driven transfers for pilots between their homes and the airport. Ground staff for both Emirates and dnata are also transported to and from work. Emirates Group Transport Services operates in over 167 countries, offering ground transport options for customers. The Emirates Shuttle Services provide comfortable coaches in selected destinations, allowing passengers to travel from the airport to nearby cities. Emirates also maintains strict standards and protocols for external service providers who transport premium customers as part of the signature Emirates Chauffeur Drive service. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a UK organization that promotes occupational health and safety worldwide and its annual awards recognize organizations with exemplary health and safety management systems.
