This marks an important achievement for the resort as it has received this prestigious award for an impressive 21 consecutive years, beginning in 2003. To earn the highly sought-after Blue Flag eco-label, a beach must not only exhibit excellent water quality but also meet a comprehensive set of 33 criteria. These criteria encompass various aspects, including cleanliness, environmental management and awareness, amenities and services, provision of information, visitor safety, and the protection of the coastal area. With an ever-growing number of countries participating, this program operates under the auspices of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. In Greece, the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (EEPF) serves as the coordinator of the Blue Flag program, ensuring its successful implementation across the country. By consistently meeting the stringent criteria set forth by the Blue Flag initiative, Neptune Luxury Resort on Kos exemplifies its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. With each passing year, the resort continues to raise the bar, providing an unforgettable holiday experience while preserving the natural beauty of the surrounding coastal area.
