Hilton recently announced a franchise agreement with Tsiledakis S.A to open the Imperial Flair Chania Old Town, Curio Collection by Hilton, which will be the hotel company’s third property on the Greek island of Crete under the upscale brand. Set to open in 2026, the 85-room hotel will be located on the western seafront of Chania, right beside the Venetian Port and the Old Town, and all guest rooms will feature a private pool. The hotel will also feature two dining outlets, including a specialty rooftop restaurant; an indoor and outdoor pool; upscale fitness facilities; a spa; and two shopping outlets. In an announcement, Hilton’s director for development in Greece & Cyprus, Andreas Koukas, referred to the chain’s impressive growth momentum in Greece with the latest signing announcement. In the last month alone, Hilton announced its third hotel on Crete, the Imperial Flair Chania Old Town, Curio Collection by Hilton, and also opened two hotels – Domes Aulus Elounda and Lindian Village Beach Resort Rhodes. “In partnership with owners such as Tsiledakis S.A., we’re going from strength to strength and look forward to expanding the presence of our world-class brands in Greece in the years to come,” he said. Crete, the largest of Greece’s islands and one of the most popular destinations for European tourists offers a beautiful natural landscape, rich gastronomic culture and ancient historical sites. Chania, on the island’s northwest coast, is known for some of the island’s best beaches, as well as the Old Venetian Port of Chania, with its striking 16th-century lighthouse and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. Imperial Flair Chania Old Town, Curio Collection is just a 20-minute drive from Chania International Airport. the hotel is also a short drive away from Crete’s famous Elafonissi Beach, with its charming pink sand, and Balos Beach, with its shallow and vivid turquoise waters. The new hotel will join the Curio Collection portfolio of four additional properties in Greece, including The Royal Senses Resort & Spa Crete, the Lindian Village Beach Resort Rhodes, the Domes Aulus Elounda and the Sea Breeze Santorini Beach Resort.
