A collaboration between the Israeli branch of the Greek National tourism Organization (GNTO) and TUS Airways, the press trip was held to showcase the island as a tourism destination and also promote the direct air connection between Tel Aviv and Corfu to the Israeli market. The Israeli journalists that came to Corfu represented leading media outlets such as Mako.co.il (associated with Keshet or Channel 12, Israel’s largest TV channel), Walla.co.il (a leading TV station), Haaretz.co.il (Israel’s historic and largest subscription-based information source) and 13tv.co.il (owned by Reshet or Channel 13, the second largest television channel in Israel with a focus on leisure and entertainment).
