Greek ferry company ANEK Lines recently released the new issue of its ANEKORAMA magazine, which features a wide range of topics, including travel getaway tips, lifestyle suggestions and articles on the history and culture of Crete, Greece and Italy.

One of the highlights of the 25th issue is a photo special on southern Crete as seen from the beaches of the Libyan Sea. The beaches of Yaliskari, Doma, Sarakiniko, Orthi Ammos, Koufonissi and Ayofarago come to life in the pages of ANEKORAMA, aiming to inspire readers to plan their next summer vacation.

Another major feature of the issue is a special of Knossos, the legendary Minoan palace. Readers can learn about the history and culture of the ancient civilization of Knossos and see some of the most impressive archaeological finds from the site.

ANEKORAMA also includes articles on Puglia, the new up-and-coming destination in Italy, and Chania, with a focus on the renowned Tabakaria district. Puglia is known for its beautiful towns, forgotten fishing villages, historic monuments, art, wine, food traditions, and remote beaches. Chania’s Tabakaria district is a unique place to explore, with its centuries-old history and unique architecture.

ANEKORAMA also “travels” east of Crete to the island of Kasos, which many see as a bridge between Greece’s biggest island and the Dodecanese island complex where it belongs.

Called “The Rock of Demons,” this alternative destination is the motherland of many famous captains and boasts unique isolated beaches as well as hospitable monasteries.

In addition to feature articles, the issue also includes information about ANEK Lines, its routes and its unique on-board facilities. Readers can also find out the latest on the company’s recent sponsorships and social corporate responsibility actions.

ANEKORAMA is bilingual (Greek-English) and distributed free of charge on all ships and central agencies of ANEK, circulating in the Aegean and the Adriatic.

The online version of ANEKORAMA can be seen here.
