Their schedule also included a meeting with the team of the Macedonia University Entrepreneurship Lab and they discussed the opportunities that can unlock for Thessaloniki as a digital nomads destination.

“The pandemic has accelerated changes in the workplace and this has resulted in the global increase of digital nomads,” said TTO President Voula Patoulidou, adding that the city’s “fast internet speeds, proximity to beautiful beaches and entertainment options, make Thessaloniki an attractive destination to work remotely from.”

Ingerman and Bom also made a stop in Athens during their trip to Greece. While in the country they posted relevant content and stories on social media. They are also expected to publish articles focused on Thessaloniki on the blog of the Working Remotely company, as well as on the GNTO Netherlands site (https://ilovegriekenland.nl).

Furthermore, the Dutch bloggers are expected to present their Greek experience at the Vakantiebeurs tourism fair in Utrecht in January 2024.
