As part of its strategy focusing on concept, design and hospitality, Donkey Hotels Group announced this week that it would be inviting Ari Vezene and Green Garlic Studio to curate the new dining experience at its hotels.

Vezene, one of the most innovative chef entrepreneurs in Athens at the moment and behind several premium food and dining experiences, will undertake to redefine the Donkey Hotels dining experience together with hospitality concept design specialists Green Garlic Studio.

The idea, Donkey Hotels management said, it to invest in a new hospitality and dining concept that tells a story in a theatrically-designed atmosphere. This fresh collaboration aimed at redefining the Donkey Hotels experience ushers in a new era for the hospitality group.

Among others, Vezene will also oversee in addition to the philosophy of dishes served, the recipes, art de la table, music, interior design and “all the details that make the food experience a memorable experience”, said Donkey Hotels.

Last year, Donkey Hotels Group, owned by the Ioannou family, launched its first hospitality investment outside of Athens: the 5-star luxury the NOŪS Santorini resort in Messaria on Santorini.

As a member of the Yes! Hotels Group, the NOŪS Santorini boasts a unique character and world-class interior design, blending the island’s history with contemporary flair.

A merger of Athinaion Tourist Enterprises SA (Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel) and Yes! Hotels Group, Donkey Hotels Group was launched in February 2021.
