UK airline and tour operator to Greece Jet2 recently announced that it would be expanding its Summer 2024 program to three new destinations including Lesvos, Greece.

According to the company the new route will connect Birmingham Airport to the island of Lesvos, with weekly Sunday services operating from May 26 through to October 6. In addition to this new route, Jet2 also added a second weekly service to Lesvos from London Stansted Airport for Summer 24.

Lesvos is the third largest island in Greece, with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays operating there from Birmingham, Manchester and London Stansted for Summer 24. The island’s unique landscape features award-winning beaches and hills blanketed in olive plantations, giving customers everything from adventure to laid-back days in the sunshine.

“As well as looking forward to a busy Summer 23, we are also seeing lots of customers want to book ahead for next summer which is great news,” said CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy, adding that that launch of the three new Summer 24 routes came “in response to the customers and independent travel agents demand for more choices.”

The company’s other new routes will connect Birmingham Airport to Tivat, Montenegro and Glasgow Airport to Verona, Italy.

This means that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate well over 400 routes from across 11 UK airports in Summer 24, with over 17 million seats on sale in total.

The companies were also recently recognized as the highest ranked tour operator and airline in the UK Customer Satisfaction Index published by the Institute of Customer Service.

A much needed service, a beautiful Island. The third biggest Greek Island, fabulous for bird watchers, sandy beaches and peaceful quiet villages.
