Athens is one of the top 10 European cities with the most breathtaking homes, according to Pinterest data released by British independent insurance broker company Alan Boswell. With over 1 billion visitors exploring Europe annually, the company’s team was intrigued to reveal the European cities with the most beautiful homes, according to Pinterest, looking at cities with the most boards and pins across Europe. Source: Alan Boswell. To compile the list, Alan Boswell analyzed the number of boards and pins returned for “[city] + homes”. Boards were filtered for the board name containing both the city name and either “home” or “interior” while the number of pins was obtained by summing up total pins for all valid boards. The final score was created by a weighted average percent rank (70 percent on pins, 30 percent on boards). Athens ranked 6th on the list with an aesthetic score of 9.13/10 – up from one place when compared to the list released in November 2022. London, UK. A staggering 84,830 pins were reported in the capital of the UK, nearly three times as much as the next most pinned city. Paris (9.66/10) and Berlin (9.65/10) followed, with Amsterdam and Naples rounding up the top 5 and Rome, Barcelona, Venice and Bristol the top 10.
