It has helped to promote the arts and culture in one of the most downgraded areas of Athens and give young artists the opportunity to present their work. Furthermore, throughout the years, the festival has highlighted and utilized public and private venues such as the National Conservatory, the City of Athens Central library, the former Athens-Peloponnese railway station, Karaiskaki Square, Maizonos pedestrian street, Vathi Square, and large hotels in the area among others. The festival is organized by the Athens Art Network, the Attica Region and the City of Athens Culture, Sports and Youth Organization (OPANDA) offering free of charge events at public spaces and low price ticketed events at indoor venues. Those interested to present their work at the festival are invited to send their proposals to petitparis.athenes@gmail.com by September 20 and visit its official site at www.mikroparisi.eu, for more information.
