Celestyal Cruises, the award-winning Greek Islands and Eastern Mediterranean cruise company, has recently announced that it will offer a 25 percent discount to first responders in Greece who have been working tirelessly to ensure protection, safety, and relief from the wildfires in some regions of the country. “We are deeply grateful for the invaluable work of all the people that work hard for the safety of Greece and offer their services to the people affected. Acknowledging their efforts, we have developed a special “HERO” discount initiative, to honor these heroes in recognition of their valued contribution to our heartland,” said Chief Commercial Officer of Celestyal Lee Haslett. Since 2014, Celestyal has received top honors in the Tourism Awards, one of the largest and most prestigious awards programs within the Greek tourism industry. These included one Platinum, 15 Gold, 10 Silver and nine Bronze awards covering Guest Experience Excellence, Solo Travel, CSR Initiatives, Contribution to National Economy, FAM and Press Trips, Communication Campaign and Multichannel Marketing Campaign. Celestyal is also deeply committed to sustainability and ethical business practices. The company actively supports the local communities in the destinations it visits, particularly in the field of education. Additionally, Celestyal supports cultural NGOs to promote youth entrepreneurship, marine student development and child welfare.
