According to an announcement, the Greek ferry operator made a generous donation to the Municipality of Volos, consisting of a substantial quantity of bottled water to assist residents affected by the water infrastructure problems caused by the floods. With residents enduring their third consecutive day without access to clean water, Seajets has donated a total of 300,000 bottles of water for distribution. The first installment of relief, comprising four truckloads of 1.5-liter bottled water, has already been delivered to the city’s municipality, providing immediate relief to those affected. An additional delivery has been made to Agria Volos, with plans for the remaining shipments to follow in the coming days. Marios Iliopoulos, Strategic Planning and Development Manager at Seajets, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting the local community during these challenging times. “With our offer, we want to cover as many needs as possible in the Volos area. In such moments of great disaster, we must all unite and support our fellow citizens,” he said.
