The Navarino Agora in Messinia, the southwest Peloponnese, will host the Messinia Terroirs Wine Festival from September 29 to October 1 to promote the area’s local wines.

An interactive, multicultural space, the Navarino Agora is a marketplace located in Costa Navarino that includes over 20 shops and hosts events.

The first event of its kind in the region, the Messinia Terroirs Wine Festival will showcase the many faces of the Messinian vineyard, giving new life to a centuries-old wine tradition.

The festival will feature presentations by local producers and winemakers, tasting sessions, master classes for professionals and wine lovers , seminars in English, wine painting programs, film screenings, and a musical program of classical and contemporary repertoire.

The detailed program of events and participation links will be announced soon, but the festival is expected to attract wine lovers from all over Greece and the world.

The festival is the inaugural event of the Messinia Terroirs program, an initiative of the Captain Vassilis and Carmen Konstantakopoulos Foundation. The foundation aims to promote the wines of Messinia and the multifaceted regeneration of a place with deep roots in viticulture, historical heritage, and culture.
