Mar-Bella Collection Accredited as a Great Place to Work

The Mar-Bella Collection, a family-run hospitality group operating award-winning hotels on Corfu and Epirus, recently achieved Great Place to Work certification for 2023-2024.

The Great Place to Work certification recognizes employers who create an outstanding employee experience. Mar-Bella Collection Group received the certification from Great Place to Work Hellas, the Greek branch of Great Place to Work, a global research and consulting authority on workplace culture and employee experience. The certification is based on the results of a confidential survey of employee satisfaction, which assesses the company’s performance on five key dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and team spirit.

Mar-Bella Collection’s recognition comes as a testament to the Group’s commitment to creating a positive and supportive work environment for its employees.

“We are delighted to receive this recognition,” said Mar-Bella Collection Human Resources Director Christina Nikaki, adding that the certification is an important assessment tool that helps the Group identify its strengths and detect opportunities for improvement.

In addition to its focus on employee satisfaction, the Mar-Bella Collection Group is also committed to investing in its people and education. The Group recently hosted training to 20 executives/associates in WSET programs, which can contribute to the development of the management team and the improvement of the quality of services to guests.

The WSPC is a training organization accredited by the Greek Education Ministry and the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (E.O.P.P.E.P.) offering training programs (WSET) in wine and oenology, but also on spirits, coffee, tea and other beverages.
