The 5th Gastronomy and Cultural festival “Heraklion – Gastronomy Days 2023” opened on Thursday at the historic Venetian Harbor of Heraklion, Crete. Co-organized by the Municipality of Heraklion, the Heraklion Development Organization, and the Heraklion Port Authority, the festival aims to highlight Heraklion as a distinctive gastronomy destination and honor the rich culinary heritage of Crete. Running until Sunday, September 24, the four-day celebration will take Greek and international visitors on an culinary journey through the ancient Cretan culinary landscape, accompanied by a wide array of parallel events.
