WTM London Sees New Exhibitors for 2023, Will be 20% Larger than 2022

The World Travel Market (WTM) London 2023, the premier global travel and tourism event, is ready for a significant showcase this year with over 14 percent of new exhibitors set to participate. The event, scheduled to take place at ExCeL London from November 6 to 8, will host around 4,000 exhibitors, contributing to its 20 percent growth compared to the previous year.

This eagerly anticipated event will include high-profile newcomers such as Eurostar, ABBA Voyage, and the Bermuda Tourism Authority, each bringing unique offerings.

“We are delighted to welcome new exhibitors to this year’s event, ranging from major destinations and well-established international brands to niche operators and hi-tech firms. During WTM London 2023, Eurostar, the high-speed international rail service connecting the UK to mainland Europe, will unveil its new branding and livery, emphasizing its vision for sustainable rail travel and plans to serve 30 million passengers by 2030.

At the same time the Bermuda Tourism Authority, representing the idyllic island, will showcase its rich culture, heritage, cuisine, wellness, and sustainability offerings. They view WTM London 2023 as a pivotal platform to strengthen Bermuda’s presence in the UK market.

ABBA Voyage, the live concert event featuring virtual ‘Abbatars,’ is set to captivate audiences. Launched in May 2022, the show will run until May 26th, 2024, and aims to enthrall international travel and tourism industry buyers during the event.

In addition to these headline exhibitors, tourism boards from diverse destinations, including Sabah in Malaysia and Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, are making their debut at WTM London. Ayana Hospitality and Thien Minh Group from Asia, offering luxury resorts, hotels, and a wide range of services, will also join the event.

Trip.com Group, a rapidly growing global online travel agency, is seeking opportunities for European market expansion, while HolidayBest, a UK-based package holiday specialist, will promote its extensive range of worldwide destinations and vacation styles.

From Turkey, the Turkish travel agency association TURSAB and Salkantay Trekking from Peru, a leading tour operator specializing in treks and adventure tours to Machu Picchu, will also make their first appearances.

In the technology zone, attendees can meet new tech exhibitors like Vertical Leap, a search marketing agency, and flywire, a payments specialist that previously exhibited at WTM Africa and is now making its debut at WTM London.

Compared to pre-pandemic figures (2019), private sector exhibitor numbers will be up by 23 percent at this year’s WTM London while African exhibitor numbers are up 27 percent, Caribbean exhibitor numbers up 10 percent and representation from the Middle East region will be up by 60 percent.

World Travel Market London is renowned as the world’s most influential travel and tourism event, where industry leaders, buyers, and prominent travel companies gather to exchange ideas, foster innovation, and accelerate business outcomes. With its significant growth and diverse exhibitors, WTM London 2023 promises to be a pivotal moment for the global travel industry.
