Prima TV, a popular Romanian commercial television station, will soon bring a taste of Thessaloniki to TV screens in Romania, as part of the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization’s (TTO) promotional actions.

The Greek northern city in mid-September was the filming location for an episode of Romanian TV show “Life & Style” hosted by Prima TV’s Maria Andrei.

While in Thessaloniki, Andrei got to know the city’s diverse offerings, which included discovering treasures in the local markets, learning how to make the traditional “bougatsa” pastry and experiencing the vibrant nightlife the destination is known for.

She also attended the annual Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), where she had the chance to engage with local businesses and experience the city’s entrepreneurial side.

The filming of an episode of the “Life & Style” show was organized by the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization in collaboration with the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) branch in Romania, aiming to promote the experiences the Greek city offers to visitors.

Commenting on Andrei’s visit, TTO President Voula Patoulidou noted that Thessaloniki’s transformation into a modern city break destination has been the result of strategic targeting and consistent communication with target markets.

“Romania is a prime example of a market where our strategies have delivered noticeable results,” she added.

The episode of “Life & Style” with Maria Andrei in Thessaloniki will soon run on Prima TV and introduce viewers to the city’s cultural heritage, culinary delights, and vibrant atmosphere.
