The announcement came following a unanimous decision during the CEFA’s general assembly this year in Novi Sad, Serbia. Kyriakos Pozrikidis, general manager of Greece’s exhibition body TIF-HELEXPO and member of the CEFA Board of Directors, represented Thessaloniki in the decision-making event. Having served twice as CEFA’s president in 2015 and 2016, Pozrikidis’ presence at the meeting was considered particularly significant. This will be the second time Thessaloniki will be host destination to CEFA’s general assembly. The Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center had hosted the event back in 2016 and welcomed presidents and CEOs of 21 exhibition organizations from across Europe.
